‘Watermelon Sugar’ is the fourth track of Harry Styles’ Fine Line album and was in the making for over two years. Harry liked the initial idea and demos, only to hate them later on and then coming back to liking ‘Watermelon Sugar’ again, after not working on it for a while. A catchy, upbeat song that combined with Harry’s vocals already became the ultimate, mesmerizing track of this summer.

Harry stated at his Tiny Desk Concert for NPR that it’s about the time when you first start dating someone. In an interview with pop buzz, Harry stated: “It’s about that initial euphoria when you start seeing someone, you start sleeping with someone, or just like being around someone and you have that excitement about them.” However, he's getting more specific about the topic if you're watching the official music video.
